Our prices and cancellation policy are different for special events such as the International Balloon Fiesta, holidays, and group bookings. Contact us with any questions. State Sales tax of 7.8125% and lodger’s tax of 3.5% are additional.
Minimum Stay—Two-night minimum stay on weekends, (includes Friday, Saturday or Sunday) March through October, and holidays. Three-night minimum stay during the International Balloon Fiesta.
Smoking—Because of other guests’ sensitivities and our dry desert location, the Chocolate Turtle is a non-smoking facility. Smoking is permitted outside.
Pets—Although we love pets, we are sorry that we are unable to accommodate guests’ pets. Our B & B standard poodle, Zorro, is hypoallergenic. He's very friendly and can stand in as a "dog fix" when you are away from your pets. He leaves the quail and roadrunners alone. Zorro likes to see the rabbits run but never barks or catches them. We have lots of bunnies in the yard.
Children—We welcome well-behaved children age six and older.
Check-in/Check-out—Check-in time is from 3 p.m.–6 p.m. We generally can accommodate arrivals outside of that time with advanced notice. Check-out time is 11 a.m.
Payment—Payment can be made with credit card (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, Discover); personal, business or traveler’s check, or cash.
Cancellations—Notice of cancellation must be received 14 days prior to arrival to avoid a cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total cost of your stay with a minimum charge of one night. The amount of the cancellation fee will be reduced for any nights we are able to rebook. Our cancellation policy is different during Balloon Fiesta, other special events, holidays and for group bookings. Please contact us for details.
Alcohol—Under New Mexico Law, we are not allowed to serve alcoholic beverages. Guests may bring their own, but for the safety and comfort of all of our guests, please drink responsibly.
